Oh Madonna.
It wouldn’t be right if the pop legend didn’t start the new year out with a little bit of controversy. After posting the above photo of her 13-year-old son Rocco Ritchie holding a bottle of gin, the world is questioning Madonna’s parenting, and most are arguing rightfully so.
She captioned the controversial flick:
“The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014.”
The photo was taken in the Swiss Alps, where the legal drinking age is 16. Not only is Rocco holding a bottle but he’s also surrounded by two more. Celebrity children grow up really fast, in general, but is this pushing it?
