When Wale isn’t battling his standing on the best hip-hop albums list, he has more entertaining activities to take part in – like assisting some of the fashion industry’s finest with their shoots for Harper’s Bazaar, while promoting his own designs at the same time.

In an article to celebrate the 40-year legacy of fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg’s iconic wrap dress, the D.C. rapper posed side-by-side with “The Original Wrapper” and supermodel Bar Refaeli, but also snuck in the opportunity to wear a little bit of his own legacy: one of his line Wrkng Title’s beanies that he paired with Jordan IIIs and destroyed denim.

The image was shot by Terry Richardson and styled by Joanna Hillman, and while there is not much explanation for Wale’s presence other than the play on words, it’s still a pretty nifty treat to see a rapper featured in the esteemed magazine.

Side note: how amazing are DVF’s legs?
