When we heard Peter Pilotto was teaming up with Target for their latest collaboration, of course we envisioned a perfectly orchestrated clash of prints and colors, but there’s no way we imagined it would be this good – because this is really, really good.

Feel about high-low designer collaborations as you may, where there is demand, there will continue to be a supply. And no other retailer has been able to fuel this demand with more precision than Target – present collabo included. After an exclusive preview last night, the entire lookbook of the Peter Pilotto collection launched this morning, featuring fun prints in a myriad of color combinations, swimwear, footwear, beach towels and some sunglasses I’m pretty sure I will not make it through summer without.

Peter Pilotto announced the collaboration with Target after their show during London Fashion Week last season. The brand, known for their bright colors and fun prints, has been coveted by celebrities like Kerry Washington and Fergie, but come February 9, 2014, the prints will be accessible to most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Target.com.

Peter Pilotto for Target will feature women’s apparel, accessories and swimwear, with most items less than $60. The assortment features nearly 70 items and ranges in price from $14.99 to $79.99 for apparel and swimwear and $16.99 to $39.99 for accessories. Standout pieces include chic dresses, flattering skirts and versatile swimwear that can be mixed-and-matched.
