Freedom!

It’s been a long, dark journey for the strong-voiced JoJo, but it looks like better times are coming. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that JoJo has signed with Atlantic Records.

This new deal should finally end her ties with Blackground Records, the label with which she released her first two albums.

JoJo’s last album was 2006’s The High Road. The singer hasn’t released a record since, due to various beefs with Blackground. She has, however, been keeping her fans satisfied with mixtapes.

JoJo’s only 23, so it’s not too late for her to make an impact on music. We’re rooting for her.
