More details are coming out about the NSA and its taps into personal phones and computers. According to Gawker, a New York Times article has discovered that the NSA has the ability to track computers that are offline. Since 2008, the program has used secret radio waves that track over 100,000 computers. The program, mainly known as Quantum, is mainly used to track the Chinese Army, which has ironically used the same hacking system in the past. [Gawker]

Another rape has plagued Delhi, after police reported that a woman was robbed and gang-raped at knifepoint in India’s capital. According to BBC, the tourist – who was traveling alone to see the Taj Mahal – was lost when she asked the men for directions. The 51-year-old woman reported the incident and flew out of the country the next day. Laws on rape are currently of high importance after a photojournalist was raped in broad daylight in central Mumbai, and a student was gang-raped and set on fire in Calcutta. [BBC]

A man in Texas is seeking legal action against John Peter Smith Hospital because they refuse to take his pregnant wife off of life support. According to CNN, the family of Marlise Munoz want to give her a proper burial because she is ‘legally dead.’ Unlike the tragic case of Jahi Math, Marlise’s husband believes that she is being treated differently because she’s pregnant. He also believes that surgeries on her body are “outrageous” and “a gross violation of her constitutional right.” [CNN]
