Dennis Rodman has had a rough couple of months.
After his infamous CNN interview about his trip to Korea and rambling about American prisoner Kenneth Bae, the former NBA star entered a rehab vicinity in New Jersey.
According to E! Online, Rodman’s rep Darren Price confirmed his treatment this morning. This marks the third time the star has entered rehab; once in 2008, and twice in 2009 appearing on Celebrity Rehab and relapsing shortly after it’s premiere.
Rodman recently took a trip to North Korea for a special basketball game honoring his pal Kim Jong Un. Contrary to belief, he wasn’t paid for his appearance and tried to defend Un and ignore talking about Kenneth Bae, an American prisoner who is currently facing 12 years in prison for unknown reasons.
“The thing about politics,” an annoyed Rodman said, “Kenneth Bae did one thing…if you understand what Kenneth Bae did, do you understand what he did?”
“What did he do? Tell me,” Cuomo pressed.
After a bit of back-and-forth banter, Rodman exploded, shouting, “I don’t give a rat’s ass what the hell you think!”
Rodman later admitted that he was drinking before his interview.
We wish the the best for Rodman during this time.
