We may have been a little hesitant about Dwyane Wade’s engagement to Gabrielle Union after he announced the recent birth of a son that is not Gabby’s, but it seems that the Being Mary Jane actress is really happy with her Miami Heat baller!
Recently, after participating in a ton of karaoke for a cause with Dwyane and LeBron James, Gabby opened up to People Magazine about the overwhelming support she’s been receiving ever since she got engaged. She had this to say:
“For everyone who’s kind of given up, and is maybe a little older and it’s the second time around, I think everyone kind of feels like it’s their wedding and we’re all in this together.”
The 41-year-old also talked about her wedding plans:
“He’s in charge. I’ll just get a save the date and … see what happens.”
Gabby admits that she can relate to her character Mary Jane, explaining:
“I’m divorced, so I’ve made a ton of bad decisions in relationships.”
