A Florida man was sentenced to 14 years in prison after tricking his girlfriend into taking an abortion pill in May. Last year, John Andrew Welden and Remee Jo Lee were expecting their first child. After Welden demanded Lee terminate her pregnancy, she refused. The medical student then tricked her by giving her a Cytotec while she was sick. During his sentencing, Welden apologized to the court and his former girlfriend. [Daily News] 

So this happened. An Indian female politician and activist claims that the reason for the high amount of rape in India is due to women’s behavior and how they dress. “Rapes take place also because of a woman’s clothes, her behaviour and her presence at inappropriate places,” she said. Her comments come after a woman was gang raped in West Bengal in eastern India. Rape culture rears its ugly head again. [Huff Post]

A woman who donated her kidney to her husband wants it back after he cheated on her. Samantha Lamb, 41, is now regretting the decision that saved her husband’s life.“I would definitely go through the operation again –- but I wouldn’t give the kidney to him. I hate him. A new bullet displayed at the Las Vegas Gun Show promises to destroy every vital organ in the human body. The bullet deemed R.I.P. (Radically Invasive Projectile) has eight shards and is geared towards women who want to protect their homes. The makers of the product tested the bullet with different rifles and have reported no failures. Yikes. [Daily Mail]
