The love is mutual when it comes to the relationship between designer Tom Ford, and the Jigga of all trades, Jay Z. As many will recall (like seriously, there was no way to escape the song) Jay Z named an entire track off his album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, after the designer with the catchy line, “I don’t pop Molly, I rock Tom Ford” – insinuating the designer digs are his drug of choice.
Jay dedicated his art to Tom Ford, so when Tom’s self-titled collection took the runway during London Fashion Week, he returned the favor: sending sequined jersey dresses down the catwalk that said “Tom Ford” on the front, with Molly crossed out underneath.
The jersey dresses are reminiscent of the t-shirt Jigga wore during his MCHG tour.
Aw, what a lovely bromance, and seriously, we’re keeping our eye on these dresses. Take a closer look at them on the runway in the photos below. Here’s to hoping we get a nice Tumblr update from Beyonce rocking a way shorter version of this in the near future.
