After weeks of tirelessly promoting her new album BraveHeart, Ashanti found a moment to take a break and catch some sun.
The 33-year-old put work on the back burner and hit the beach in Malibu, California yesterday. She shared a few snaps from her mini vacation, showcasing her slammin’ bikini body.
“Soaking up this Cali Sun… #Malibu #braveheart,” she captioned the first of the photos.
She shared two more photos, one of her having a “Malibu moment,” gracefully walking through the cool California water and another of her basking in the warm sun.
Ashanti was photographed sporting a black and yellow strapless bikini that is totally to die for.
Earlier this week, the “I Got It” singer sat down with Singers Room to discuss her musical influences and her success.
“I have definitely had moments where I felt like, agh, this is not what it’s suppose to be, this cannot really all be happening at once. You do get a little discouraged when you’re putting in everything and you’re doing what you’re supposed to do and you’re not getting a return – it’s very frustrating,” she said.
“There have definitely been lots of low points when you question things. But I don’t think I ever got to a point where I was gonna completely give up. It’s not really in my nature to give up one things.”
