The Daily Grind Video

It’s about damn time.

When Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean isn’t beefing with Chipotle, he’s penning his highly anticipated channel ORANGE  follow-up.

The “Lost” singer is back in the studio recording his sophomore album, which is scheduled to drop later on this year. Famed photographer Nabil snapped a photo of the New Orleans crooner in the studio with a caption that reads, “Frank in the lab.. Making sophomore album game.”

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Frank Ocean on the solo tip. The 26-year-old singer/songwriter was featured on Beyonce’s self-titled surprise album, and Converse’s mash-up ” Hero” featuring Diplo and The Clash’s Paul Simonon and Mick Jones.

Back in 2013, in an interview with BBC’s Zane Lowe Frank Ocean revealed his sophomore album would pick up where channel ORANGE left off. There’s no word on an album titled or specific release date.

Are you excited for a new Frank Ocean project?
