Rihanna and Rita Ora have been ahead of the game.

Not only do the two sexy songstresses bare an uncanny resemblance to one another and are on the Roc Nation roster, both are reigning champions of the concrete catwalk. The two girls are fearless fashionistas who can pull off just about anything, but it’s their sporty-chic style that is right on the bullseye for one of this season’s biggest trends.

Per the fashion week runways, sporty is back for spring, and according to Prada, DKNY, Balmain, Lacoste, and many, many more, it’s all about the athletic aesthetic that RiRi and Rita pull off oh-so-well, and their looks from over the weekend serve as perfect outfit inspo to help us play the fashion field. As you can see, it’s not too tricky to follow this trend–all it takes are a few key pieces.

Bomber Jacket:

There’s no need for a heavy trench coat when you can opt for a bomber jacket that is just as versatile. Designers like Marc JacobsTracy Reese and Balmain showed us their take on the athletic staple. Add one to your wardrobe lineup to take a feminine look to the next level. Rihanna rocked her $876 Fay color block jacket over a shirt and skirt combo, while Rita picked a $700 baseball leather varsity jacket from adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony to wear over her maxi mesh-knit dress.

Sneakers:

Good news, gals: it’s time to give your heels a break and slip into something a little more comfy. Sneakers are now a footwear favorite thanks to the likes of Dior and Chanel, who sent couture kicks down the Fashion Week runways. Although Karl Lagerfeld’s collection offers sneakers that sell at upwards of $750, there’s no need to shell out too much money: You can nab Rihanna’s New Balances for just $70, or if you want to get lifted like Rita, her Superstar 2 Platform Up Ef adidas will ring you $137.

Baseball Cap:

Look, bad hair days happen, so there’s nothing like a simple black baseball cap to help you cover up in style–even Rihanna and Rita know that. But now fashion meets function in this accessory that’ll help you master the tomboyish trend.

And just like that, you can channel your own inner Sporty Spice this spring.
