The term ‘It Girl’ is defined as “a young woman who possesses the indefinable quality “It”; absolute attraction without flaunting her sexuality,”– also known as Elle Fanning.
The now 16-year-old, who’s celebrating her birthday today, is definitely next up in everything from films to fashion.
She brought in her birthday by celebrating her May 2014 cover of Marie Claire at the magazine’s Fresh Faces event along with stars like Lupita N’Yongo and Kate Mara.
When asked about celebrating on the eve of her super sweet 16th birthday, the rising star told reporters:
“It’s sweet 16, so it’s a big deal. I went back to school on Monday, so I’ll be in school tomorrow — which is kind of exciting too, because your friends will bring you cupcakes.”
Although the Maleficent star gets to live the A list life and be a normal kid at the same time, there’s still one major thing she wants to do while she’s 16.
“I don’t have my [Drivers] permit. You have to study and all this stuff. I’m like, ‘When’s the time to learn?’ But I want to!”
