Coachella is the mother of all music festivals, it has been the haven of music lovers — from A-list celebrities to your everyday fans of all ages and races —  since 1999.

It’s an annual two-weekend (starting last year,) three-day music and arts festival held in Indio, California. Everyone from Madonna to Jay Z and Beyonce, to Amy Winehouse and even a holographic Tupac have performed on stage at this epic music event.

This year’s Coachella Music Festival begins tomorrow, April 11th, and will include performances by Pharrell, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Nas, and many others. The highlight of the weekends will of course be the reunion of hip-hop royalty, Outkast.

Since it’s #ThrowbackThursday, Bey posted a few pictures, including the one up top, on her Tumblr of her and her hubby at 2010’s Coachella. She even shared these visuals of their “Forever Young” performance during Jay’s headlining set below.

We all know Bey is full of surprises, so she might even pop up on stage this year to perform a few tracks off Beyonce. The signs are obviously there. The song she used in the video above is called “Love Is To Die” and it’s by an L.A. band named Warpaint who are performing at this year’s Coachella. Both her and her sister, Solange, (who’s also on the setlist to perform) have been posting throwback Coachella pictures today, so we could even see a sister, sister performance! Now that would be an epic moment.

Following suit while being in the #ThrowbackThursday mood, we compiled a gallery of the most epic Coachella moments so far. Including Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre bringing Tupac back from the dead and Rihanna and Katy Perry‘s lesbihonest PDA moments, to some serious changes in fashion from your faves over the years.
