Last night Game of Thrones did it again with episode 2 of season 4 The Lion and The Rose or how fans on Twitter are calling it, The Purple Wedding.

SPOILER ALERT! If you are not caught up with Game of Thrones, do not continue reading. You’ve been warned!

The Lion and The Rose features a great battle of wits between King Joffrey and Lord Tyrion ending with the eventual demise of King Joffrey. All eyes shot to Tyrion as the person behind Joffrey’s death but there is more to this story.

Tyrion is played by Peter Dinklage, who just so happens to be one of the most interesting actors in the world. He’s a father, husband, friend of many, on top of being a great actor.

Peter recently participated in Reddit’s Ask Me Anything and we learned so much about him. Scroll through the post to learned more!

He’s really good friends with Hilary Banks aka Karyn Parsons. She is the person that introduced Reddit to him, Peter revealed, “I heard about Reddit from my good friend Karyn Parsons, who played Hilary Banks on the Fresh Prince.”

They also go out on friendly outing for hummus. When Karen asked him a question he started his answer with, “Hi Karyn! We should go out for hummus soon.”

He’s had a cat for ten years even though he is not a cat person. Peter reveals the story behind how he got his cat.

“I’m not a cat person but I had a cat for ten years. Because I had a rat in my apartment and I don’t like killing creatures. So I got a cat. I thought my roommate was going to take the cat but he moved out with his girlfriend and left the cat there. So I have this cat.”

He has a funny story about a girl’s cock that you just gotta know about.

“There was one scene I was doing with Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn. It was in season 1 I think, when I say something to a crazy woodsman guy. He asks “How do you want to die?” and the line in the script was like, “At the age of 80 with wine in my belly and a girl’s mouth around my cock.” And I said… “Age of 80 and a girl’s cock around my mouth!” I inverted a couple of the words, and when I said that my friend Jerome couldn’t stop laughing, so we had to stop filming for the day.”

He once, “met a woman who had children named Arya and Sansa!” And another person with a dog named Tyrion.

After working in hot Croatia, Peter and the cast found a great way to unwind.

“The best part is that at the end of the work day, since it’s very hot there and we’re in these hot costumes — heavy leather and armor — some of us rip off our clothes and just jump right into the sea. Well, not all of our clothes. You know what I mean. But it’s invigoratingly cold, and always a joy.”

If Peter could have any super power he would choose flying.

He doesn’t have a bucket list because he doesn’t think he’s old enough to have one, although he does want to visit Peru., “I heard that’s incredible.”

In the movie Death At A Funeral with Chris Rock he says Tracey Morgan kept everyone entertained.

“He just kept repeating that Ernest Borgnine was his father. And for some reason him repeating that to everyone, the craft service, everyone, the more he said it the funnier it got. Tracy Morgan is a lot of fun to be around!”

His favorite quote is also some of the best advice he’s heard.

“I love a quote from Steven Soderbergh. I read some advice he gave in an interview: Perseverance + talent= luck. There’s no such thing as pure luck, you just have to persevere and hopefully you have a modicum of talent. I love that quote, I think it really says it all.”
