After a petition was starting to try and get Justin Bieber deported back to Canada, it looks like it’s received enough signatures to be considered by the White House. According to reports, the White House has refused to comment on the petition, but they do want to use the opportunity to send a message about the President’s immigration reform plan. [TMZ]
While immigrants were crossing the Texas border into the U.S., apparently 200 of them were arrested. Tons of immigrants were camping out near the border, surviving on little food and resources, when it was raided by police. [ABC News]
The FBI is currently questioning passengers from a Delta Airlines flight that was going from Detroit to Denver after there was word of a bomb threat. Some passengers have been allowed to get their luggage and leave the airport, while some are still being held. [CNN]
An Ohio teacher was fired after telling a student that we don’t need another Black president after Obama’s term. The teen told authorities that he told him “we do not need another black president,” and the teacher is now on unpaid leave after working at the school since 2000. The student apparently told the teacher he wanted to be president someday, which initiated the conversation. [NY Daily News]
A 14-year-old teenager is now a suspect in the murder of his grandmother after showing up to school with bloody clothing. The grandmother was stabbed multiple times, but there is no word on a motive for the murder. It’s reported that he will be charged as an adult. [Examiner]
