So this happened.

Parents in an Oakdale, Calif. neighborhood were in for a big surprise when they discovered eggs along an Easter egg hunt were filled with racist messages instead of treats.

The eggs, which looked like regular plastic eggs kids commonly collect on the Easter holiday, were filled with messages used by members of the White Man March.

Charlene Barnett, who found the vestibules for intolerance on Friday, said the messages were “hateful messages of discrimination and prejudice.”

“Mine in particular said ‘Asia for Asians, Africa for Africans, and white countries for everyone,'” said Barnett.

Dozens of the egg messages were placed on doorsteps and in front lawns of homes in Oakdale’s Vineyard subdivision. The back of each note had the name of a website that promotes pro-white activism: whitemanmarch.com.

Police are investigating who left the eggs and say perpetrators could be cited for littering and posting fliers without the city’s permission.
