As we all know, Kanye West married his “perfect” chick Kim Kardashian yesterday during a stylish, star-studded Italian wedding in Florence that included guests like John Legend – who reportedly sang his tearjerker of a hit “All of Me” for the bride and groom – Blac Chyna, Common, Andrea Bocelli, LaLa, and more!
Not surprisingly, the media has been looking high and low, and far and wide for all the deets on what Kim wore, what close friends and family members didn’t attend and why, who performed, what guests ate, and of course we all want to see pictures! Well, we’ve scoured the internet for everything you need to know thus far.
We previously reported that Bey and Jay ended up not attending the wedding, although the Queen of the Beyhive sent a lovely message to KimYe wishing them “a lifetime of unconditional love.” But the fact that Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian didn’t witness their “I Do’s” is making headlines as well.
Rob was seen arriving at LAX the day of the wedding and he was visibly upset.
According to TMZ, some drama went down:
“Rob booked a flight from Florence to L.A late last night in a hurry … and we’re told he was in tears while desperately trying to secure a seat. It’s unclear what caused the Kardashian family beef — but it had to be bad — considering he missed out on not only his sisters wedding … but one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.”
That’s too bad. We know deep down inside Rob would have loved to see his sis and new bro-in-law make it official.
As far as the wedding reception goes, it sounds like it was nothing short of amazing. Not only was there a photo booth that captured some glorious (and stylish) moments, E! reports that it was “spectacular” and “emotional.”
Of course, Kris Jenner made a huge emotional speech, as we all know she loves her some Kim K. The site reports:
Both Kim and Kanye’s family made speeches. One highlight of the night was Kris Jenner‘s “big, emotional” speech that sources tell E! News was a tribute to Kim, Kanye, and their daughter, North West.
Our source says the speech was a “huge moment” of the evening. And thought it was surely touching (Kris’ exclusive statement telling us how she was “beyond bursting with happiness” had to be a preview), we’re told Kim kept her composure and didn’t cry during the wedding.
Kanye reportedly called the Kardashian krew “The most remarkable people of our time” who “can make the world a better place” before talking about how he wants to spend “every day of my life with Kim” during his speech.

He also reportedly went on a rant worthy of a Harrison Ford movie that includes the hijacking of Air Force One. ‘Ye went on and on about the culture of being in the limelight and that all the spoofing and tabloid covers don’t get him or the Kardashian family down.
“I am defined by being a celebrity…the world is our altar,” he announced to a cheering room. “We are not stupid!”
Our insider said that Kim’s new husband got very heated during certain parts of his speech, but he also had very sweet things to say about his new bride. He called her the “ideal celebrity” and the “ideal art,” and he gushed about spending “every day of my life with Kim.”
North was noticeably absent from the reception but apparently it gave the newlywed couple a lot of time to dance, their first dance was to an Etta James mashup and then “one seriously killer playlist” that ‘Ye put together and eventually rapped along to.
And what did Hollywood’s finest eat? E! Reports:
“The menu Kim and Kanye’s loved ones dined on included homemade pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese, thyme and marjoram. Also offered was monkfish filet in a crust of aromatic herbs. For the second course, guests feasted on beef filets, potato tarts and truffle green beans. And how sweet was dessert? Homemade strawberry sorbet and, of course, wedding cake were served… An eyewitness tells us the wedding atmosphere was ‘exciting’ and guests drank Armand de Brignac champagne and Brunello di Montalcino san Filippo red wine.”
Wedding guest Tracey Mills shared a photo of the menu, and captioned it:
“THIS MENU WAS HEAVENLY!!! #2became1”
But what everyone really wants to know is what did Kim wear as she walked down the aisle? The answer is Givenchy. That’s not a total surprise as Kim’s definitely killed Givenchy on several occasions prior to her big wedding day.
E! reports:
Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci is close friends with the newlyweds, and earlier today E! News confirmed Kim had a dress fitting with him just days before the nuptials. The white lace gown features handmade lace work and strategic sheer paneling, and this was also included in the ethereal long silk veil.
Kanye also wore Givenchy, rocking a “custom wedding tuxedo” and North joined her superstar parents, wearing a Givenchy “haute couture dress matching her mom’s one-of-a-kind number.”
As far as Kim’s reception stunner, the site dishes:
Kim chose a party-ready minidress by Balmain for her second wedding look, a source exclusively tells E! News.
The designer dress was studded all over with crystals and pearls, which made for a dazzling effect, and—no big surprise, either—Kim took the plunge with a low-cut neckline.
