Kelis really left her mark on the world when her song “Milkshake” hit radio waves back in 2003.

This week, the National Scripps Spelling Bee went down in Washington, D.C. and while the room was tense, with two contestants battling it out for the title, a judge definitely helped to relieve all of that tension.

One of the two final contestants – who ended up tying with his opponent in the end – was given the word “Feijoada” by the judges, and before spelling it he asked for the word to be used in a sentence.

The judge apparently read the wrong sentence, telling the contestant:

“Tabitha discovered that while her milkshake brought all the boys to the yard … oh boy, wrong sentence.”

The audience couldn’t help but laugh at the hilarious mistake and though the contestant didn’t seem to find it as funny, he still spelled the word correctly.

Check out the hilarious moment above!
