Can you believe she just had a baby? Neither can we.
It looks like that glow hasn’t worn off yet, because Kerry Washington was absolutely radiant at the Women in Film 2014 Crystal & Lucy Awards presented by MaxMara and BMW. There, she was honored with the Lucy Award for Innovation in Television, and while Kerry definitely deserves a round of applause for her role in Scandal, we want to take a moment to honor her for that outfit.
The actress and new mommy got her look right off the runway. She wore a Sportmax Fall 2014 low neckline black top, fitted with a splattered calf-length pencil shirt, which added just the right amount of color. Paired together, the outfit showed off her great curves. And if that wasn’t enough, Kerry’s shoes were to die for. Keeping consistent with the splattered theme, she wore blood orange heels with a bit of colored polka dots at the toe.
Clearly this beauty is not only fierce on the television screen, but also on the red carpet.
Speaking of a red lip, Tracee Ellis Ross also rocked the red, as well as a form-fitting fiery hot dress and chandelier earrings.
Eva Longoria looked amazing in a black and white jumpsuit from MaxMara, paired with black stilettos and silver hoop earrings.
Jumpsuits seemed to be a trend on the carpet, because Neighbors actress Rose Byrne shimmered in a strapless MaxMara silver jumpsuit with smoky eye makeup and simple chain necklace.
Maggie Gyllenhaal looked absolutely classic in a signature blurred floral gown by Peter Som, simple silver earrings, and a short cut that showed off her cheekbones.
And finally, Cate Blanchett showed us what true elegance looks like in a Chloé ruffled white gown and gold-trimmed sandals.
