Congrats are in order!

A woman from Compton, Calif. is proving that anything is possible after she graduated from UCLA with three degrees while caring for three children by herself.

According to CBS Los Angeles, 28-year-old Deanna Jordan received praise from her peers and the administration during her graduation ceremony. Jordan had her children between the ages of 18 and 22. After her third child, the single mom decided to buckle down for her future.

“I needed for my sons to see there was a legacy that preceded them with college,” the 28-year-old told CBS. “I am the first in my family to go to college.”

Jordan attended West Los Angeles Community College for two years and UCLA for three years for her two Bachelor’s degrees and her Master’s degree in African-American studies.

Along with her college career, the proud mom also volunteers with the Compton Pipeline Task-force to help mentor children in troubled cities. Jordan plans to take a little time off before pursuing her dreams of going to law school to be a district attorney.

Anything is possible, folks.
