It’s weird meets weird on this track.

Swedish singer Erik Hassle has been building a following with his off-kilter synth-pop for the past few years. The lead single off his recently released Somebody’s Party EP, “Pathetic,” has already enjoyed a remix from California rapper Vince Staples. Now, Vice Records-signee Deniro Farrar has hopped on the track, delivering a dark opening verse on the bassy song.

The North-Carolina rapper weaves his words between the quick hand percussion, making for an energizing, upbeat tune. Not to mention his menacing low baritone voice contrasts excellently with Hassle’s smooth, soulful falsetto.

Deniro Farrar’s debut EP Rebirth dropped in May. Listen to the two rising stars share a beat on the remix below.
