This can’t be good.
A California Highway Patrol officer was caught on tape punching a woman on the side of a Los Angeles highway this past Tuesday.
The very graphic and disturbing video shows the cop walking towards the woman on foot at first, but then proceeds to tackle the woman and repeatedly punch her.
According to KABC News, the CHP said that the officer asked the woman to stop, but she refused and continued to walk away from him.
California Highway Patrol said in a written statement to ABC 7 News:
A physical altercation ensued as the pedestrian continued to resist arrest, at which point a plain clothes, off duty officer assisted in applying the handcuffs.
The woman refused to give her name and is currently being identified as ‘Jane Doe’. She was taken to the hospital for physical and mental evaluation.
