Jay Z and Beyonce‘s PDA isn’t the only thing heating up stadium arenas as the On The Run tour travels across the country. Beyonce’s several different costumes have also been quite a topic of discussion.
Aside from giving us a glimpse of OTR behind the scenes on her site, Bey has slowly been revealing all the deets on the designers of her tour wardrobe.
One of the most attention-grabbing looks of the night is Bey’s opening mesh black leotard. The plunging neckline bodysuit and matching ski mask–which took around 200 hours to create–is perfectly fit for the performances of “’03 Bonnie & Clyde” with her hubby. Versace described the look as “a sexy bandit on the run,” and said:
“For the show looks, we wanted to keep true to the songs on the album. We were inspired by the gangster, Hip-Hop feel.”
Her second look from the luxury label features the iconic Versace logo embellishment on a multi-colored long-sleeved leotard. Versace revealed they specifically designed this piece to match the “energy and coolness that is Beyoncé.”
“We looked to the street for color and vitality. We came back with iconic Versace prints embellished with crystals and see-through tracksuits with Swarovski stripes, for a baseball vibe.”
Safe to say they hit a home run with this one.
