Drake did it big for everyone who plays second fiddle while hosting the 2014 ESPY Awards last night.

The Canadian rapper proved that his talents include more than mastering the art of singing and rapping, the “Days In The East” rapper exhibited his comedic skills and reminded everyone that he’s actually a good actor.

Drake kicked off his medley dedicated to second place winners with a song hilariously titled “Honorable Mention,” you know, for the people who seem to always come in second place.

“Iggy Azalea and Swaggy P, I love you both you’re like a poor man’s Jay and Bey,” Drake jokes.

After announcing all of his honorable mentions, Drake brought out R&B singer Brian McKnight to add a little juice to his “Side Pieces” performance. Back in 2012, Brian McKnight made headlines for his sexually quirky song “If You’re Ready To Learn (How Your P*ssy Works),” so it’s easy to assume he knows all about “side pieces.”

“I already got a starter, but I’m looking for the rest of my team,” sings Brian.

Now that the ESPYs are over, Drake will be focusing on pushing Majid Jordan and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s projects, which will release over the next two weeks. He’s also gearing up to hit the road with his mentor Lil Wayne on their “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne” tour on August 8.

Take a listen to “Side Pieces” down under, and watch his performance of “Honorable Mention” while you’re at it.
