Life moves fast.

Just a couple of months ago, Bobby Shmurda was just another unsigned NYC rapper (Lord knows there’s a lot of those around).

And then “Hott Nigga” hit. And he started appearing in publications. And he started getting interviewed by the likes of The Breakfast Club and Blogxilla. And then A-list celebrities like Beyonce and Jay Z started shouting him out.

And now he’s signed.

Yesterday, the 20-year-old Brooklyn native signed a major label deal with the LA Reid-led Epic records – home to acts like Future and Big Boi.

Epic Records executive Sha Money XL announced the deal on his Instagram, saying:

Deal is done @bobby_shmurda #EPIC no one does the underdogs better then me. Brooklyn this 1 is for you!”

Congrats, Bobby. Go dance it up, bro.
