Ever since Iggy Azalea started seeing a lot of success, stemming from her #1 hit “Fancy,” the haters just don’t to want to give credit where credit is due.

That being said, there’s been a lot speculation as to whether or not she writes her own rhymes, especially after Nicki Minaj’s speech about authenticity at the BET Awards. Fortunately, her Grand Hustle boss T.I. has finally put the rumors that he ghostwrites all her songs to rest.

The 33-year-old rapper recently spoke with Detroit’s 105.7 station, where he set the record straight.

T.I. said of the rumors:

I mean, I ain’t no ghostwriter. Iggy got her own ideas and thoughts that she presents to the world her own way, man. I couldn’t write a lot of the sh-t she say. I couldn’t put her thoughts into words as articulate as she does. She just has a different way of presenting herself and her art. Now, don’t get me wrong, everybody in the studio helps with hooks and certain things like that. That goes for me and any of the other top five rappers. Everybody. It could be a producer, a homeboy, you want the best ideas.

If Iggy could have a mentor, I guess I’m the closest thing to it.

We guess that settles it – When you hear Iggy spit, just know that Iggy wrote it. Most likely, anyway.
