This is what we call a heart made of gold.

5-year-old Ruby Miles planned a magical trip to Disneyland for her father Damian Myles after finding out he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The little girl needed the funds for the vacation, and that’s when her hometown of Southport, England took stepped in to help out.

Annie McTaggart, a local bar owner at The Wellington, heard about little Ruby wanting to take her ill father to Disneyland in Paris and decided to help put together a fundraiser for the family. The community helped raise £4,130 (nearly $7,000 U.S. dollars) to make Ruby’s dream come true. Annie even arranged a special Disney princess party for Ruby at her bar to tell Ruby about the big surprise.

Annie told local reporters:

The day was just so emotional. They are such a lovely family and Damian is one of the nicest men you can meet. Ruby had come downstairs one morning and said, ‘Daddy, I am taking you to Disneyland before the angels come for you.’ When I gave her the tickets she said, ‘Does this mean I can take my daddy to Disneyland?’ It was overwhelming.

*Currently shedding tears.*

Ruby’s favorite princesses (Cinderella and Aurora) delivered the good news about the week-long family vacation in Disneyland. Mike from Part of Your World Princesses had this to say:

I think everyone had a tear in their eye when Ruby came out and saw the princesses. She just burst into tears, it was so moving. We do about 20 parties every weekend, but to be part of something like this makes it all worthwhile.

It doesn’t get any sweeter than this. After raising money for the Myles’ family vacation, the community is still raising money for Ruby’s trust fund. How amazing is that?
