Recently, images of Taylor Swift embracing geek chic popped up all over our Instagram feeds. Now, we get to see the production behind the glasses and braces, as the singer stars as Nerdy Natalie on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

While appearing on Fallon’s hilarious “Ew!” segment, Taylor talks about never getting back with an ex while rocking pigtails and huge, colorful scrunchies in her hair. Check out how it all went down via the video up top.

We all miss Robin Williams.

The late actor, who was known for making the world laugh out loud, will be honored at the 2014 Emmy Awards after dying in his home earlier this week. Executive producer Don Mischer shared this statement with People:

“Plans for the In Memoriam segment are in discussion. While we are all still coming to terms with this week’s tragic news, we are working to give Robin Williams the proper and meaningful remembrance he so well deserves.”

The Emmys will air on August 25th via NBC. Our prayers go out to his family at this tragic time.

The late Paul Walker will also be honored this month, as previously taped footage of the actor, who died in a car crash last year, will air on this Wednesday’s Shark Week special, Spawn of Jaws: The Birth.

Walker made a great impression when he met Dr. Michael Domeier, a marine biologist who admits he didn’t initially want to work with Walker ahead of Spawn of Jaws and was skeptical about finishing the special after his death. Domeier told Entertainment Weekly:

“Honestly, I really didn’t want to keep working on the film. But after a few months went by, I decided, ‘Okay, Paul would want us to finish it, let’s finish it.'”

Check out the footage here.

Jennette McCurdy wrote and stars in a newly-launched web series that’s loosely based on her life, titled What’s Next For Sarah. The 22-year-old actress is best known for her role opposite Ariana Grande in Sam & Cat, but will delve into the world of Sarah, “an actress who gained fame on a TV show for tweens and is now forced to figure out what to do with her life.”

McCurdy told THR of the role:

“I wanted What’s Next for Sarah to be a light-hearted call-out to some of the more absurd experiences I’ve faced growing up in the entertainment industry.”

Will you be tuning in?

All you Power Rangers fans can already look forward to the year 2016!

According to the latest, Lionsgate has set a release date for a new PR film – July 22nd, 2016. Deadline reports:

The Saban Brands pic, which is ditching the “Mighty Morphin” tag of yore, follows a group of ordinary high school kids who find themselves infused with extraterrestrial powers and must harness those powers as a team to save the world. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz are penning the script from a story they wrote with exec producer Roberto Orci. The pic will go up against Warner Bros’ King Arthur that weekend, and it’ll arrive less than two months after the next installment of another retro kids property, Paramount’s Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles 2.

We can’t wait for the reboot of the ’90s classic to hit theaters.
