Last night was all about hip-hop, as the 2014 R&B/Hip-Hop BMI Awards took place at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. As always, the stars were dressed to impress.
The red, well, black, carpet featured some of our favorites in the music industry, including the likes of Zendaya, Ludacris, Tamar Braxton, and more.
Zendaya sported a metallic two piece dress that she paired with a fashionable hat and dark lip, while Tamar kept it more girly in a black jumpsuit with nude heels.
Luda hit the carpet looking dapper in a blue tuxedo, smiling from ear-to-ear after receiving the President’s Award, which honors songwriters, publishers, and producers of the last year.
Inside the star-studded event, R&B really came together as Chris Brown, August Alsina, and Tyrese met up and even snapped a picture or two together. Can you imagine if all three got on a song?
Trina, the diamond princess, was also spotted inside the venue. She posed with Bobby V as guests watched their hip-hop friends win big.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took home Song of the Year, Lil Wayne won Songwriter of the Year, and the R&B/Hip-Hop Producer of the Year went to DJ Mustard. Check out more pictures in the gallery below!
