Mustard on the be…wait, Mustard wasn’t on that beat.

During Elliott Wilson’s CRWN interview series, Cali super producer DJ Mustard expressed his frustration with Iggy Azalea, her number one record “Fancy,” and her decision to use another producer who “copied” his sound.

HipHopDX Reports:

“At first I was like, ‘Yeah, you trippin.’ I know Iggy. We know her. She used to be chillin’ with me, [Ty Dolla $ign], YG. She used to be chillin’ with us. She knows the sound. She knows how hard we was working to make that sound and for you to go to somebody else or for you to do whatever you did, whatever they did and just be like, ‘Oh this is new and I don’t know why Mustard dissed…’ No. You know why.”

The producers behind Iggy’s smash record are a London-based trio called The Invisible Men. When YG headed across the pond and made an appearance on Tim Westwood, the “Bicken Back Being Bool” rapper blasted The Invisible Men for copying DJ Mustard’s Cali-inspired production.

Hopefully, Dijon and Iggy can talk this one out and give the world a record we can jam to.
