Annabelle hit theaters tonight, and it will scare you right out of your seat.
The movie is a spin-off of horror flick The Conjuring, which if you remember, features a small scene with a freaky doll named Annabelle. Well, this movie tells the sordid tale of how the doll became possessed.
Mia and John are having a baby while living the American Dream. All is going well until their neighbor’s daughter Annabelle – who ran off to join a cult – returns to pay her family a visit. Things get out of hand when Annabelle slits her throat and drips her blood into the eye of the doll. That’s when the possession begins.
This process is called “The Evil Eye.”
We caught up with Tony Amendola, who plays Father Perez, to ask him about his role in the film. We also talked to one of the best mediums in the game, Salvador Gata, and asked him if “The Evil Eye” was a real thing. He dropped the bomb on us – so watch above to find out.
