Being a worldwide superstar may have its perks, but it also comes with a lot of stress…namely, rumors that are just not true.
Over the past week, YMCMB rapper Drake has had his name run through the mud by headlines accusing him of threatening a stripper after having sex with her. A couple of days ago, the Houston stripper, Jhonni Blaze, came forward and said the accusations weren’t true.
Now she’s publicly speaking out about the situation in an effort to dispel any rumors that she is pregnant or that Drake personally sent a group of men to threaten her life.
Here are a few quick snippets from her interview with KBXX’s “The Madd Hatta Morning Show.”
On Not Having An Issue With Drake:
“I would never talk about nobody and I don’t have nothing bad to say about Drake. I never called the police on Aubrey. [Drake’s given name]”
On The Reason She Called The Police:
“I actually called the police because my friend came home and she said that some guys said that they were looking for me. So, I documented that for my protection and for some odd reason people were calling me looney.”
Her Apology:
“I did what was right as a woman and just filed a police report for my safety, in case something happened to me. I apologize to the whole staff and whoever works with Drake. I apologize from my heart.”
