This is a case study for when blasting your record label goes right.
After calling out Atlantic Records for not releasing his long-awaited album earlier this week, Atlantic finally gave in to Lupe’s public demands and gave Tetsuo & Youth a release date.
Tetsuo & Youth will now be released January 20, 2015, but fans may be able to hear new material from Lupe before then.
Atlantic made the announcement via Twitter, and Lupe’s reaction was simple, yet priceless:

Remember his mention of releasing a project titled Lost In The Atlantic Ocean?
Rumor has it, Lupe is still planning to release the project. Unfortunately, Lost In The Atlantic Ocean has no release date. But yay for Lupe getting that release date he wanted.
