LA-based singer Jarell Perry released a cover of Drake’s Nothing Was The Same album cut “Own It,” giving it a smooth low-key spin.
The southern California native made a start for himself recording homemade demos in his UCLA dorm fronting bands around campus. After graduating Perry continued to pursue a career in the music industry as a songwriter for Chris Brown, Diplo, Timbaland and others.
In 2013, Perry released his debut LP Simple Things.
