It’s been a long time coming, but Teyana Taylor’s debut album VII is finally here.
It’s been almost 10 years since she signed to Pharrell Williams’ Star-Trak label (seven years to be exact), but after the business didn’t work out, both Teyana and Pharrell amicably split in 2012. Just a few months later, Teyana signed a deal with another producer-turned-artist – Kanye West.
In the past two years, Tey released multiple free projects and was featured on G.O.O.D Music’s acclaimed Cruel Summer compilation album.
Her 14-track debut is definitely for R&B lovers and features guest appearances by Chris Brown, Pusha T, Yo Gotti, and Fabolous. You can purchase Teyana’s new album here.
