Dumb and Dumber To hits theaters next week; a wild return to the parts Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey created 20 years ago when they gave birth to the characters Harry and Lloyd.

Now back to find Harry’s long-lost daughter, the pair rekindle the magic they first sparked in 1994. We spoke with Jim and Jeff for a fun interview.

The guys talk about what it’s like to pull some off-the-cuff jokes in the movie, they discover the word “THOT,” and Jim reveals that he was all set to return to the In Living Color reboot before the show ended up getting scratched.

“I called Keenen (Wayans) and said ‘Do you want me to do something in the reboot?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I’d love to do it,’ but then I never heard about it again. I guess it didn’t work out. It’s a shame because it’s such a great place for young talent. For me, it was just heaven. I wouldn’t be here. Keenen and Damon gave me an (opportunity) to be seen and be super creative and do things I would never be able to do anywhere else,” Carrey said.

Sad news, but at least we can get that throwback comedy with Dumb and Dumber To in theaters November 15th. Watch our interview with Jeff and Jim in the video above.
