Ever since reports surfaced that Diddy allegedly slapped, or even punched, Drake outside of LIV nightclub in Miami this past Sunday, many have been wondering what really went down.

Answers are finally surfacing, as TMZ reports that Diddy did rough the Take Care rapper up a bit outside of the nightclub, and it was all reportedly over his song “0-100/The Catch Up.”

According to the site, both hip-hop power men were offered the song by producer Boi-1da, and Diddy was sitting on it for too long before making a decision whether to use it with a verse from Drake or not. This triggered Drake to take the song himself, record it, and release it a week later as a freestyle.

The site reports:

Our sources say, producer Boi-1da had given both Diddy and Drake a song to record more than 8 months ago. We’re told Diddy sat on the song, which frustrated Drake because he wanted to record it. So recently Drake recorded the song on his own and it did well, which pissed Diddy off.

Diddy saw Drake at LIV Monday for the first time since the song was released. Sources close to Diddy say he confronted Drake, who just blew him off, and that’s when Diddy said, “You’ll never disrespect me again,” and then punched him.

We’re told Drake ended up at an ER because in the ruckus he hit his shoulder and exacerbated an old injury.

TMZ also just posted a video that shows old footage of Diddy calling out Drake on stage at a concert back in June, where he plays the song “O-100” for the crowd.

He tells the crowd that he “gave” the song to Drizzy, more than likely with the idea that he would add his own verse, but Drizzy released it as his own freestyle shortly after. He then says that he “stole” the song.

Although Diddy is definitely not too happy in the video, he does mention how the song is “hot” while the track plays for the crowd.

There’s no word on what exactly happened after all of this, and whether Drake and Diddy have spoken since, but Drizzy did sort of respond on his Instagram today:

They’re either talking shit about you or stealing the shit you’re talking…either way the name been poppin

Drake also posted a funny photo wearing a hat he references as similar to one comedian friend Kevin Hart would wear.

He captioned the photo:

I put on a @kevinhart4real hat to eat this room service. I am slowly starting to understand why you constantly wear these. It made my meal feel more exotic. Cheddar was looking more like a provolone or a rare Brie. Thanks Kev.

Drake is always able to make light of situations, but we’ll see what happens with Diddy on this one.
