This Christmas Eve one family experienced tragedy, as their 4-year-old autistic child went missing during the holiday, and has now been found dead.
According to Gawker, Jayden Morrison – who was originally from New York – went missing from a relative’s home in South Carolina. He was found after he drowned in a Little River pond.
The family claims that there was a “brief lapse in supervision” while his grandmother watched him. She reportedly found the front door open, as his siblings were watching television.
Over 100 volunteers helped search for Jayden, and he was found after authorities lowered the pond levels.
