Common had an incredible 2014, receiving multiple Grammy nods and a Golden Globe nomination right before the year came to a close.
After starring in the movie Selma, the Nobody’s Smiling rapper has been doing tons of promo for the film, but most notably, is incorporating his music into the soundtrack with the song “Glory,” which features former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate John Legend.
The dynamic duo recently performed the Golden Globe-nominated track on Good Morning America as part of their Winter Concert series, a salient complement to the protests against police brutality spreading worldwide.
Common rapped while accompanied by John’s piano-playing skills, as well as a full orchestra, during the amazing performance.
