The Daily Grind Video

Cali collective OverDoz. has a new album on the way, and we’re beyond here for it.

On the heels of releasing their thought-provoking “Rich White Friends” music video, Joon, P, Kent, and Cream stopped by GlobalGrind’s office to chat about their forthcoming album 2008 and why 2008 was their favorite year.

The rhyming foursome also discussed recording a song with Pharrell in a mere 15 minutes, Lauren London, and partnering with A$AP Rocky for his 2013 debut Long.Live.A$AP.

With their “Rich White Friends” music video sparking conversations about race and America’s racial tension, OverDoz. also weighed in on their white fans saying the n-word, and more.

The 2008 album is scheduled to drop Spring 2015. Watch our exclusive interview with OverDoz. up top.
