Have you ever been having a conversation with someone, and you receive a text message on your phone, but you feel rude checking it?

Your worries may be over, as texting hats are the best way to keep someone from looking at the top of your head when looking down at your phone, and seeing your face instead.

Mister 😐 Face and writer/director Brad Hasse produced a new short film, which takes on the challenges of those who are on the receiving end of a chronic texter, as well as those who have to briefly leave the conversation.

According to the film, Hasse was “inspired to create this satirical social commentary piece in reaction to the chronic eyesore of the top of someone’s head as they look down to text while walking on the street, waiting for the bus, at reception desks, or even in the middle of a face-to-face conversations. Hasse’s solution: the Texting Hat, a hat with a photo of your face printed onto it to bring back “eye contact” without jeopardizing texting abilities, summed up with the tagline, ‘Bringing Eye Contact Back into the 21st Century.'”
