No matter how hard he tries, Bill Cosby cannot escape the allegations against him.
During an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, Cosby was hoping to promote his partnership with the Black Belt Community Foundation, a campaign that works to improve education in Alabama. But, like everything Cosby does these days, his philanthropic work was overshadowed by the sexual assault allegations against him.
When asked how he would respond to children who question him about the accusations, Cosby responded:
“I’m not sure that they will come like that. I think that many of them will say, ‘Well you’re a hypocrite, you say one thing, you say the other.’ My point is, listen to me carefully, I’m telling you where the road is out. You wanna be here, or you wanna be concerned about who is giving you the message.”
Cosby also went on to claim that a celebrity has never been treated as badly as he has in the past year.
“I’ve been in this business 52 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. Reality is the situation and I can’t speak.”
Despite the more than 30 women who have claimed that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them, the actor has never been criminally charged and is still looking towards the future.
“I really know about what I’m going to do tomorrow. I have a ton of ideas to put on television about people and their love for each other.”
The Cosby saga continues…
