Filmmaker Asif Kapadia’s unauthorized documentary about Amy Winehouse’s life already hit theaters in the UK, and Amy is scheduled to take U.S. theaters by storm this coming weekend.
To help promote the film’s U.S. debut, a clip of Amy and producer Mark Ronson recording Back To Black was released. The intimate video shows Amy and Mark in the studio going through the iconic album’s recording process back in 2006.
Since Amy’s untimely death on July 23, 2011, Mark Ronson has positioned himself as one of the best producers in the music industry – especially with his recent releases “Uptown Funk” with Bruno Mars, “Feel Right” with Mystikal, and his contribution on A$AP Rocky’s new album.
Watch Amy and Mark vibe out up top.
