The Daily Grind Video

Queen Nicki Minaj opened the VMAs in a majestic fashion, flocked by on-beat dancers, many of whom, including Nic, were outfitted in red. Her Minajesty even garnered several seconds of KimYe‘s rare approval in a much-needed gif showcasing their enthusiastic applause.

Onika’s performance of fan favorite “Trini Dem Girls” was lit AF and she was able to back it up while wearing a towering headdress, suggesting superhuman balance. She then ***flawlessly transitioned into “The Night Is Still Young” and just when you thought it was about to turn down, Taylor Swift, noxious aura of cookies and sparkles, emerged onto the stage. If you’re wondering, “Is the beef squashed?” the answer is yes. The two hugged it out on stage, in a very public manner, to showcase the cessation of any remaining bad blood.
