While fans waited in line for hours just to score a few pieces from Yeezy Season 1, Future got his apparel hand-delivered by Kanye West. The DS2 rapper shared the above photo of himself and ‘Ye along with the caption: Kanye jus dropped my YEEZY season 1 trenchcoat off. Ye x Pluto
The trench worn by Future in the shot is sold out everywhere, along with basically the entire collection. In fact, despite the criticism the line received from some, Yeezy Season 1 has flown off the shelves and seen significant success online as well. Sites such as Farfetch couldn’t be more pleased with the sales, Complex reports: “Yeezy Season 1 has been one of the fastest selling brands on Farfetch this season,” says Candice Fragis, Buying and Merchandising Director at Farfetch, an international fashion website that stocks products from 300 independent boutiques around the world.
The top product appears to be the 950 boot, Complex continues: Fragis says that 80 percent of the collection sales at Farfetch came from menswear. According to her, the runaway was the 950 Boot, which sold out within the first three hours of going live on the site. Farfetch will carry the Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers on Nov. 14, and expect those to sell out just as fast.
Another top-seller is the camo t-shirt, which Kanye has been spotted in on multiple occasions, explains Xhibition co-owner Robert Rosenthal: “We could’ve probably sold hundreds of the camo T-shirt if we had them. It was $235 and Kanye was seen in it a lot, which I think helped boost the sales of that as well,” adds Rosenthal, who points out that the items that did sell were also the more affordable from the collection.
