The OVO flagship store in L.A. is finally open. Remember when OVO frontman Drake teased the store’s opening in December with that awkward trailer? Located on La Brea, the store follows the same mantra of all the music coming out of the OVO camp: it’s understated and allows the product to speak for itself. And now, to go along with all the monochromatic gear, you will soon be able to cop the black OVO Jordan 10s during All-Star Weekend in February. Further details on the release are still unknown. On the heels of Kith’s exclusive adidas Tubular Doom, it looks like the three stripes has another sleek silhouette on the way, recently debuted by Pharrell Williams. While hitting up the Chanel store on Rodeo Drive, Pharrell posed for a quick flick, showing off what appears to be an unreleased adidas model. The yellow kicks feature the word “Race” along the entire toe box and tongue and have an ankle-level lacing system similar to the Y-3 Qasa. Read More

While Kanye West continues his design streak at adidas, he has no qualms with his creative director and close friend Don C brokering a deal with Nike. Don C recently hooked up with Complex to go sneaker shopping at renowned Cali consignment shop Rif. The Chi-town native wasn’t scared to geek out a bit as he picked up the Jordan 3s and immediately reminisced about seeing MJ rock them in the dunk contest as he leaped from the free throw line. Don C also basked in the blessing of designing his own Jordan 2. It’s slept on by most sneakerheads, but Don instantly gravitated to the shoe thanks to its luxe influences. Read More
