Can we take a moment for some natural appreciation?
Of the many memorable lines to come out of “Formation,” “I like my baby hair, with baby hair and afros” has to be a fan favorite. So much so that it’s hard to believe it wasn’t always this way. Beyonce and Jay Z have been widely criticized for the way they style their daughter’s hair.
Through it all, Beyonce has refused to address the ignorance – until now. And she basically offered the perfect shutdown. A child’s hair does not have to be straight, fine, or permed in order to be beautiful, and Bey’s proud of Blue Ivy‘s flourishing ‘fro.
