Jay Z appears to have thrown a curveball at rival market player Spotify, as the race to dominate the music streaming space continues.

HotNewHipHop reports that as of last week, Jigga’s classic Blueprint trilogy — consisting of 2001’s The Blueprint, 2002’s The Blueprint 2, and 2009’s The Blueprint 3 — have all been yanked from Spotify with little explanation. Of course, Jay Z owns music streaming service TIDAL, so it’s a logical move from the hip-hop mogul.

While Spotify subscribers can still get access to a number of tracks via compilation albums, the majority of favorite cuts featured on the three projects have disappeared.

We’re finally starting to consider TIDAL now, Kanye.
