The Daily Grind Video

Justin Bieber is no stranger to winning awards of every caliber, but the young superstar revealed that he “doesn’t feel good” before the show ceremonies…or after them.

Following the Billboard Awards on Sunday, the Biebs took to Instagram to post a very sentimental message with an equally maudlin photo.

“I don’t know about these awards shows. No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it. Nothing but love for you guys and your support. But I don’t feel good when I’m there nor after,” he wrote underneath a photo of sheep.

The singer, who took to the stage on Sunday to perform his hit single “Sorry,” added that the events usually end up feeling like one giant critique and rating of his work, instead of feeling like a celebration of the music.

Bieber’s idea that “we all get caught up in the approval of others” comes as a surprise, considering he took home the award for “Top Male Artist” and “Top Social Media Artist” at the BBMAs on Sunday.
